On Friday, January 10, 2020, the Foundation of the French Academy of Surgery (FAC) launched its first program to raise awareness among young college and high school students about surgery and the health professions. Selected and volunteer 4th grade students, wishing to learn about helping others, had the honour of receiving Professor Philippe Marre, retired surgeon, member of the French Academy of Surgery and Secretary General of the FAC.
The students were able to learn about the profession of surgeon and ask many questions.
Thanks to the Youri Gagarine College in Trappes and the Academy of Versailles for hosting the FAC and allowing this exchange with the students.
Thanks to the students of the 4th grade 5. Professor Marre was impressed by the relevance, curiosity and intelligence of the pupils present who were able to show their interest by listening and asking questions.
