PREPARATION OF OUR VOLUNTEER DOCTORS OF HELICOPTER BORNE EMERGENCY MEDICINE FOR INDIA, CHINA AND INDONESIA

TRAINING FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES BY HELICOPTER

Our team of FAM volunteer doctors is preparing to leave to train in helicopter-borne emergency medicine in India, Indonesia and China. With the patronage and involvement of the Airbus Foundation and in particular Laurie Ceccan and Ralph Setz.

As a reminder, training modules in emergency medicine are carried out in pairs by the two foundations. They enable local doctors and poorly trained medical staff to familiarize themselves with French techniques in emergency and disaster medicine and in particular with the use of rescue helicopters.

Participants have the opportunity to train in real rescue conditions using a helicopter, combining theory and practice.

Such training programs have already been implemented in Brazil, Mexico and China.

Many thanks to our trainers: Jean-Claude Deslandes, Jean-Pierre Auffray, Roy Hervé, Frédéric Chavet, Christophe Chapuis, Stéphane Foucher, Pascal Zellner and Ralph Setz.
